Besides being in the 21st Century, India has over 175 million children enrolled in primary school today. But the shocking  fact is that 50% drop out of school. Surprising?

Some children drop out  for economic reasons as they are unable to afford and also some due to poor quality of teaching. The education completion rates are even poorer amongst children from socially and economically marginalized backgrounds. Also due to gender discrimination, the condition of education of females is far more worse than that of males in most of the states in India.
